# Teach Emplio a rule once

> Tell Emplio how your business does something once, and it saves it to company memory. See every rule in Memory and change it whenever you like.

Goal: Emplio follows your way of doing things without being told twice.

**You need**

* Nothing set up. Any chat works, on the web or on Telegram.

![The Memory page with company notes in a list and one note open](https://mintcdn.com/kulp-labs-private-limited/IjR6ehLkQ1P7AXTC/images/app/knowledge-light.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=IjR6ehLkQ1P7AXTC\&q=85\&s=af8bc085c20095351c78dd5869384cd2)

Memory, where Emplio keeps what it learns

**1. Say the rule**

```text theme={null}
From now on, give new cafés 30 days' credit.
```

Emplio saves it as a note in company memory and uses it from then on.

**2. Find it in Memory**

Click **Memory** in the sidebar, then **Notes**. Company rules are under **Company**. Search by any word in the note.

**3. Change it**

Open the note and click **Suggest a change**. A chat opens about that note. Say what's different:

```text theme={null}
Make it 15 days for cafés outside the city.
```

**4. Undo a change (optional)**

Every note keeps its full history, so nothing is lost.

```text theme={null}
Put the credit note back the way it was yesterday.
```

**What you get:** plain notes you can read, kept for the whole team.

| Folder | Who sees it |
| - | - |
| **Company** | Everyone in the business |
| **Restricted** | The owner and admins. For money, pay, HR and owner notes. |
